The HTC Vive is a virtual reality headset developed by HTC and Valve. Unique to this VR headset is the “room scale” technology that enables a physical space to be transformed into a virtual 3D environment. This allows the user to roam in the virtual world and hold and move objects using controllers. This is made possible because the HTC Vive has two motion controllers and two infrared sensors. In addition, a powerful computer for the VR headset is needed to process the sensor data and run the applications & games.

Furthermore, the HTC Vive has a frame rate of 90 frames per second, and uses two OLED displays, each with a resolution of 1080×1200. Together, these displays form a field of view of 110 degrees. Furthermore, the set features over 70 sensors including an accelerometer, gyroscope, front camera and laser sensors for positional tracking.

Specifications Virtual Reality Laptop:

Processor: Intel Core i7 7700HQ
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
Storage: 256 GB SSD + 1TB HDD
