The Oculus Rift started in 2012 on Kickstarter, a crowdfunding platform. Oculus has since been taken over by Facebook and is one of the most popular VR glasses. Due to a huge range of games, there is a nice application for everyone. With the two Touch controllers included, it looks like you can fully use your own hands in VR. In addition, the sensor also sees where the Rift is located, so you also move in VR!
The Oculus Rift has a refresh rate of 90 hertz and uses 2 OLED displays with a resolution of 1080 x1200. These two displays together provide a field of vision of 110 degrees. In addition, the Rift has a built-in accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer.
With the Oculus Rift, you already have enough space with 4m²! If you want to go for the ultimate experience, then we can also create a playing field of 16m²! The playing area is defined by two sensors that monitor the touch controllers and the VR glasses. The Oculus Rift is equipped with a security system to prevent the user from moving outside the defined area or bumping into an object.
